It doesn't seem like a friendly venue for us... but there's no need to
associate our name with the event in any way, we should just choose an
event to which many of us are already traveling, so we can have our
regional meeting prior or after said event.

Maybe we can all mention what events in LAC we are planning to travel
to, so we can decide which one best fits our needs.
