Dear all,
Thank you very much for the positive feedback.
We have booked a room (meeting pod 3) from 16.30 to 17.30 on THURSDAY, to discuss how to organise the work for the coalition and our IGF 2019 session. It is an excellent idea to use the meeting to organise further interactions and cooperation with new stakeholders and we would like to thak Michael for the excellent proposal to cooperate on common themes, such as the impact of platforms on journalism, which is of course of great importance
With regard to the IGF session will include presentations based on the papers featured in the special issue of the Computer Law & Security Review, celebrating five years of activities of the Coalition on Platform Responsibility and dedicated to Platform Values: Conflicting Rights, Artificial Intelligence and Tax Avoidance. The special issue, which is the 2019 official outcome of the coalition, will include also the finalised Best Practices on Platforms' Implementation on the Right to Effective Remedy, elaborated by the coalition between May 2018 and March 2019 https://www.intgovforum.org/multilingual/index.php?q=filedepot_download/4905/1550
We would like to discuss with you the proposed organisation of the IGF session as follows:
We welcome any other suggestion for topics to be analysed at the RightsCon and IGF Session.
Looking forward to meeting you on Thursday!
Kind regards

Hi Luca and Nicolo,Our executive director, Mira Milosevic, and I would be interested. It would also be a good time to brainstorm how our DCs could work together on cross-cutting issues. In case you don't know, the organisation I work for – the Global Forum for Media Development (GFMD) – took the lead in establishing a new DC just this April: the Dynamic Coalition for the Sustainability of Journalism and News Media (DC-Sustainability). It's meant to be a hub for the journalism, news media, journalism support, and media development communities to engage with important Internet governance and digital policy matters, specifically ones related to the sustainability and viability of journalism and news media in the digital age.We specifically cited the opportunity to collaborate with the DCPR since one of our key issue areas is market regulation vis-à-vis big tech. So, I see natural overlap. In case this is something you're interested in, feel free to sign up for our mailing list. We are also hosting a meeting at RightsCon on Thursday, the 13th in Meeting Pod 2 from 12:45-13:45, which you are cordially invited to attend.See you in Tunis!

As many of us will be at RightsCon, next week, I am writing to enquire on whether you might be interested in having a brief and convivial meeting to share ideas and organise our work ahead of the IGF. Last year, at RightsCon Toronto, we had the possibility to meet for one hour and the discussion was immensely useful and fruitful.
We have written to the RightsCon organisers to book a room on Thursday, 13 June. Please let us know (either on-list or via PM) if you are interested in joining the meeting and if there is any theme that you would like to prioritise for discussion.
All the best
Luca and Nicolo
