Dear all,
I hope everyone is well (within the limit of the ongoing pandemic mess)!
As you might know, the deadline to submit an IGF session proposal is next week.
A recurring theme in recent platform related discussion is platform interoperability and
how this can play out in practice.
In conversation with several Coalition members, we identified this as a key concerns on
which many of us are currently working. I know many list members have worked on this topic
and I would like to check if there is any interest in dedicating the coalition session to
Platform Interoperability or something along these lines.
A Coalition outcome for this year could be a brief paper on such topic (or some sort of
Platform Interoperability Guide, collecting existing research on this topic)
Anyone interested in the session or outcome, please feel free to reply on-list or
directly!
Lastly, Nicolo and I are also awaiting a reply from the Editor of the Glossary but
unfortunately, due to the pandemic, all editorial processes have been tremendously
delayed. We will share updates ASAP.
Feel free to reply on-list or via direct email.
I am heavily involved in efforts to get strong interoperability requirements added into
the upcoming European regulations, so I am all in favour - happy to participate and to
share materials.
Ciao,
