I wanted to share the news of the launch of the book Gobernanza y Regulaciones de Internet en América Latina.

The first two sections of the book are dedicated to infrastructure and connectivity challenges in Latin America and several DC3 members have authored some of the 29 chapters that compose the book (see chapters 2, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16 and 24)

 

The book is available in Open Access here http://bit.ly/IGRlatam  This is the first collective work trying to explore Internet Governance and Regulations in LatAm, in Spanish, gathering opinions from academics, regulators, prosecutors, business leaders and civil society advocates.  It also includes prefaces by Vint Cerf and Raúl Echeberria, and an excellent postface by Edison Lanza,

 

The Spanish edition will be launched at LACIGF, next week in Buenos Aires. The Portuguese version is in the pipeline and we are studying the feasibility of an English version. Will share updates about this ASAP.
