Hi all,

As Leandro already announced a couple of weeks ago, we are in contact
to the "Internet Inclusion: Advancing Solutions" event organisers to
explore the opportunity to have a Working Group on Community Networks
for the upcoming event in 24-25 April 2017 Washington, DC (this time
is scheduled to happen after the WB meeting, which is in April 21-23).

We think that the opportunity is very well aligned with DC3 and that
it would give us a good opportunity to go forward with the on-going
work, but the main problem is that we are really short of time
because, aside from attending the meeting in April, the working groups
must have done previous work before (we know that at least some of the
already WGs are already quite advanced).

We agreed with the organisers to make a decision on the creation of
the CN WG by the end of next week (the alternative is to integrate
with / participate in other WGs). Do you think we could set a minimal
group of people (say 8 to 10) interested in attending the IIAS in
Washington by then?

Please let us know ASAP.

Note on travelling funds: we are not yet sure if there are any, but I
pretty sure that one way or another we will be able to arrange some help
.
