Sounds like a plan Adam. Let's make our website great again! :)

_______________________________________________Hi all,
When attending RightsCon, I bumped in to and had a discussion with Raoul Plommer over the official DC3 website.
After the discussion, he set up access for me to assist with updating a WP site for DC3
The official DC3 intgovforum landing page is at
https://www.intgovforum.org/multilingual/content/dynamic-coalition-on-community-connectivity-dc3-0
This small set of pages not only seems out of date (at least with a non-current list of stakeholders/members) but also does not mention or link to the previously mentioned WP site (https://comcon.nu).
Along with others, I'm happy to help with continual update of a DC3 web resource, but not so happy if it is orphaned or not linked in, mentioned and seen as an official resource of the dynamic coalition.
If Raoul's WP site is easiest for maintenance by multiple volunteers & potential extra features such as calendar of events, etc, I would suggest adding Website to the List of links on the DC3 intgovforum landing page, and moving the content based links such as Action Plan, Stakeholders, and Documents/Reports to be embedded within that website.
ie on https://www.intgovforum.org/multilingual/content/dynamic-coalition-on-community-connectivity-dc3-0
we now have
This could be changed to something like
(If DC3 is 'contractually obligated' to keep documents/stakeholders content on intgovforum, I'm sure a way could be found to sync back from a WP master file list containing latest up-to-date versions of required info).
Currently, Raoul, Maureen and myself have been set up as editors on the orphan WP site (hopefully more people will help out too!).
Does the above sound reasonable to move forward with?
If so, I assume at least Luca has authorizations or access to make small changes to the intgovforum landing page.
If not, or if there are other issues that are not covered in this email, please update my limited understanding.
Respect and Regards to All,
Adam.

Hi Raoul –
I am including Kyle Shulman on this thread.
Kyle works across our regional teams at ISOC, and has worked with me on several web-sites.
Kyle – can you and Raoul see what can be done to shift to WP if the group agrees and/or help him as needed?

I don't have credentials to the non-WP site, so I can't update anything at http://comconnectivity.org
We'd really need to decide which one we will use, and redirect the other one. I would support using WP, because it's easiest to maintain and update, for everyone. I can do a post once a month, if someone else does it too. Having 2-4 ppl doing this, could actually start giving us more of the much needed visibility and traction.

Hi Raoul and Jane,
I think it is an excellent ideq to update the zebsites that are a little outdated as regards contentn, although I think updating every two weeks is a little overoptimistic (I would be very happy if we had updated every two months)
Raoul, here you can find all material produced by D3C https://www.intgovforum.org/multilingual/content/dynamic-coalition-on-community-connectivity-dc3-0?qt-dynamic_coalition_on_community_c=4#qt-dynamic_coalition_on_community_c
I think you have credentials of both sites, right?
It would be good to add also more documents and resources produced by DC3 members (besides the DC3 official docs) as well as recent pictures (I remember people were sharing on telegram during IGF)
Everyone, feel free to share any docs/sites, etc you would like to be linked
All the best
Luca

Ah, ok. I just caught the address from a google search because I didn't remember it by heart. This link came up from the Mexico IGF transcripts.
Still, the issue remains, neither site has been updated since 2017. I'm willing to do the occasional post, if others do it too but I refuse to do it alone. I was really under the impression, that we wanted a WP-site, so we can update news in collaboration, through many editors who take turns in uploading content and blogs about our progress. I have now had that site ready for willing people (to update) for over a year, but nobody seems willing.

The site is live.
Delete one of your “m’s”
On the topic of the site. It is worthwhile, but it does need to be maintained.
We could help with that. Simply in a neutral fashion at the direction of the group.
You all decide.
Best,

I just visited the http://commconnectivity.org/ and it doesn't resolve.
Will we continue the work on the https://comcon.nu and redirect this domain that no one wanted to maintain?
If people want, I can share editor credentials on comcon.nu and we should really keep updating it rather regularly AND share those posts in the social media, if we actually want some wider traction with our collaboration. I created all of this after our meeting in Mexico and I think we should really start showing (and updating) our presence now. I think this should really be a crowdsourced effort, since we're all volunteers here.
