Thank you Nicolas!

We'll look into utilizing CollectD and making better use of the Mikrotiks . . . we chose the mikrotik for the ability to do hotspots/create vouchers in case the community needed to collect a little bit of revenue in order to pay for the internet back-haul . . . the community is still figuring out which option they want to go with in order to pay the ongoing monthly ISP fee. . .

I'm non-technical (myself and the community are learning as we go), but we have a few friends/technical volunteers helping us, so we'll comb through all the feedback from DC3.

Thanks everyone!

Alexis

Hi Alexis,

Congratulations for your project!

I guess this space is not the best for this question :)
I see that you are using Mikrotik devices... they have their own
administration tools that are very good for mantaining
infrastructure... have you tried them?

In LibreMesh networks (an Open Source OS for Community Networks) we
just collect metrics using CollectD.

Better Open than closed ;)
