Complementary infrastructures is a good opportunity. We know cases such as Zenzeleni that combine electricity, lighting and networks, or guifi with some fiber going through the water supply.

Lack of energy and lack of comms are related. Look at the similarity of these maps:

I keep hoping Musk will take on the challenge and come up with some fabulously cheap/whiz-bang solar-powered batteries.  Or possibly Jack Ma would put resources into this.  Maybe we can push out a challenge at IGF?

Seriously – yes.  Powering Comms has always been a huge issue.  Folks are working on this in so many places that we may want to start a link on the DC-3 resources to that alone?  (Or is that done already?)

Thanks for sharing this. It's great to see them focusing on energy providers too.
