Dear Michael,
We are under one-week away from the Internet Society's virtual conversation
about community networks!
On Thursday, *24 October 2019 at 13:00 UTC*, Chapter and SIG
representatives of Community Network projects from Africa, South America
and Eastern Europe will share their insights on a range of topics.
*Who are the panelists?*
Sol Luca de Tena is currently the acting CEO for Zenzeleni community
networks not-for-profit company in South Africa, as well as the vice-chair
for the Internet Society’s global Special Interest Group in Community
Networks.
Nicolás Echániz is a member of AlterMundi. He has been involved in
Community Networks for over a decade. Nicolás co-designed the multi-radio
mesh network model that AlterMundi shares with communities willing to build
their own communications infrastructure.
Ucha Seturi is a lawyer and founding member of the Georgian Internet
Governance forum. He is the Coordinator of ISOC's Tusheti Community Network
project and as of 2018 he is the coordinator of the Pshav-Khevsureti CN
project.

Sol Luca de Tena qui est la directrice générale par intérim de la société à
but non lucratif, Zenzeleni Community Networks en Afrique du Sud, et
également vice-présidente du groupe de travail sur les réseaux
communautaires d'Internet Society.
Nicolás Echániz est membre d'AlterMundi. Il est impliqué dans les réseaux
communautaires depuis plus de dix ans. Nicolás a co-conçu le modèle de
réseau maillé multi-radio qu'AlterMundi partage avec les communautés
souhaitant créer leur propre infrastructure de communication.
Ucha Seturi est avocat et membre fondateur du forum géorgien sur la
gouvernance de l'Internet. Il est coordinateur du projet de réseau

los Capítulos y SIG de los proyectos de redes comunitarias de África,
América del Sur y Europa del Este compartirán sus puntos de vista sobre una
variedad de temas.
*¿Quiénes son los panelistas?*
Sol Luca de Tena es actualmente la CEO interina de la empresa sin fines de
lucro de redes comunitarias de Zenzeleni en Sudáfrica, así mismo es la
vicepresidente del Grupo de Interés Especial global de Redes Comunitarias
de Internet Society.
