Hi Don and Jérémy
Thank you very much for this message.
The interaction with Jérémy and colleagues from OLI perfectly fits into one of the segment of the DC3 session, dedicated
to “2. discussion with stakeholders that are developing community network-related initiatives and that could become DC3 partners”
I think there would be no objections – on the contrary, it would be a great pleasure – to have someone representing OLI
speaking about their initiatives at the DC3 session.
However, we will have to be quite strict with time management, as we will have only 60 minutes for the entire session
(as pointed out in a previous email)
I am sure we can find a suitable solution
All the best
Luca

Assunto: [DC3] Intro to OLI & an offsite during at IGF
Hi All,
Per Jane’s recommendation, allow me to introduce a group that formed (is still forming) earlier this year at the ASU Library who hosted
the Offline Internet Summit
Cc:’d here is Jérémy Lachal, who co-chairs the OLI software group in addition to being Directeur Général / Executive Director, Bibliothèques Sans Frontières / Libraries Without Borders www.bibliosansfrontieres.org
OLI is great group of people with lots of overlapping interests to the DC-3. As does another IGF dynamic coalition for Public Access at Libraries (DC-PAL includes other centers). IGF Session on Nov. 14 at 10:00am.
It’s our thinking that these represent three tightly interlocking, mutually reinforcing approaches to (actually) achieving universal access/inclusion and hope for more interactions/alignments. IGF should be the place!
Thanks,
Don Means, Director
