It does not ask anymore to create or find networks because that's what
FirstBootWizard was doing.
And I suppose you deselected FirstBootWizard, right?

Yeeep, that's a known issue with FirstBootWizard: it works just on
routers with also 5 GHz radios, see the issue report here:
https://github.com/libremesh/lime-packages/issues/661
and PicoStation M2 has only 2.4 GHz.
