Things are getting even stranger.
After rebooting none of the errors occur.

Hi Juergen,
it was absolutely worth reporting :D
I just opened two separate issues for the <<send: Operation not
permitted>> and the <<send: Address not available>> which I think are
unrelated and potentially severe.

The "Operation not permitted" one I believe is related to the OpenWrt
firewall: do you have it installed? You can check this with:
opkg info firewall
try disabling the firewall with
/etc/init.d/firewall disable
then restart and check if you still see the "Operation not permitted"
message.
The issue discussion page is here:
https://github.com/libremesh/lime-packages/issues/787

The "Address not available" one is completely obscure, no idea of its
severity. Is there any Babeld guru in the list?
The issue discussion page is here:
https://github.com/libremesh/lime-packages/issues/789

Regarding the <<Warning: keyword "wired" is deprecated -- please use
"type" instead.>> for some reason I don't see it on my router...
Anyway I prepared this pull request, which would require a bit of
testing (e.g. make sure that on Babeld version from OpenWrt 18.06 the
option "type" is present):
https://github.com/libremesh/lime-packages/pull/790

Ciao!
Ilario
