Hi Ilario,
I checked it with your option (Channel 11 in my case) and it worked.
So I can switch between the two bands. Automatically is 5 and with option is 2.4 Ghz.

Thank you!

I did not try but I suppose that if you create an interface specific configuration specifying only the channel, it may work.
So, try adding something like this
https://github.com/libremesh/lime-packages/blob/e572b4531b2fdcc89965974e0b2268cf4f269b32/packages/lime-docs/files/lime-example#L130

config wifi radio0
    option channel 6

In /etc/config/lime-node run lime-config and reboot.
If the radio cannot do both 2.4 and 5 at the same time, clearly this way you'll have only 2.4 GHz.
Let us know!
Ciao,
Ilario
