To summarize:
- Moderate success with chef builds. Routers seem to be very near (about 15m with walls) each other in order for mesh to form. Phones can roam further and be able to maintain a connection.
- Question: How to setup so that internet can be shared: a) wifi (internet) -> computer -> ethernet -> router w/ LiMe, or b) ethernet (internet) -> computer -> wifi -> router w/ LiMe. Tried scenario A but no success.
- Question: What are best practices for doing DNS. How to give a LiMe node a static IP and set a network wide alias to human readable some.domain.
- Question: What is compatibility between builds? I haven't been able to successfully compile using lime-build yet. Once I am, how can I know if that build should be compatible with something on Chef, for example.
- Question: How to add device types to chef list of compilation options.

Yes, I think so. Or to produce yours using lime-build.

I removed the reference to downloads.libre-mesh.org from the website
(replacing it with a link to chef).


The ones at
downloads. seem to have newer upload dates?

Well, the builds in chef are a stable release, while the builds in
develop are some broken old trunk, seems. So, in develop there are newer
files but they're neither a stable release neither the last version of
the trunk. The downloads subdomain is simply abandoned and we decided in
April to replace it with a redirect to chef.altermundi.net
Sorry, I don't have the control over this :(

Pau redirected downloads.libre-mesh.org to chef.
Maybe one day we will reestablish a subdomain for having unstable
builds, but I propose a clear name like "unstable.libre-mesh.org"


Anyways, we are meeting again this Wednesday. What's the best way I can
get some help from the group before then to get things working? I have
some guesses about how I can debug the process but help would be tremendous.
