Nice! Thank you Pato!

I would add the following:

RetroShare
- Asynchronous messaging: Yes.
- Antifeatures/disadvantages: Chaotic documentation.

Briar
- Antifeatures/disadvantages: It does not work with Replicant, as it requires Bluetooth to add contacts.

Bitmessage
- Asynchronous messaging: Yes.
- Antifeatures/disadvantages: At current version, messages received are not perfectly organized chronologically yet.

ZeroNet
- Asynchronous messaging: Yes.
- Antifeatures/disadvantages: Most of the zites require a JavaScript-enabled browser to be functional.

Tox
- Asynchronous messaging: No.

Freenet
- Asynchronous messaging: Yes.
- Antifeatures/disadvantages: Slow.

Cheers!

Both Scuttlebot and Dat have LAN peer auto-discovery. Although cabal apps are quite new, I'd say they're pretty stable, given they are very simple. I believe they are in English only.

Cool, I added this to the page:

# Cabal
- platform: Android, iOS, desktop via Electron
- LAN peer auto-discovery:
- functions: LAN and internet, text chat, channels
- stability/usability:
- languages of user interface:
- website: https://cabal-club.github.io/

Can you fill in the blanks? And how does it affect battery life on your
phone?

Also, I added Twisted, which showed up when I searched for "chat" in the
LibreMesh packages. I figure a non-p2p option meets my needs if the
server can run on a LibreMesh router.
