Hi Nico, dear members of SIG Group
I'm glad some of us are going to have the opportunity to meet in person,
and I wish you all a good work together (thanks Panos for your links:
really nice talks you have been doing!).
My proposal is "No re-election will be allowed". I don't see any reason
for copying the
Executive Concil Officers' condition: if you (anyone) could provide an
argument for this, I'd like to hear it.
(I'm also interested in understanding our decision process...).
best,
Thiago

Hi Nico, dear colleagues,
Thanks for compiling this version: it seems almost ready!
I have a question about line 87: "Re-election will be allowed
indefinitely". What is the purpose of such a permition?
In contrast, I think re-election should be avoided, not allowed.
As an emergent group we should encourage everyone to take part and share
responsabilities. Re-election (as evident in our "democracies") creates
groups of power, specialists in maintaining their own power, status,
privileges.
What do you think?
Yes Thiago, completely agree.
Changed to the same conditions as the Executive Council officers: three
consecutive (1 year) terms maximum.
abrazo,
Nico
