Hi guys,
I just wanted to do a follow-up on the topic of knowledge sharing.
Who of you are doing courses on community connectivity?

Hi Maureen, Luca, all:
Do you have any updates about the resources page on the DC3 website? I have
been periodically adding to it, but I am not sure if you have already
ported them to the new site.
Here they are again:

Hi all,
This is to inform you that, unfortunately, the workshop proposal on Sustainable Connectivity has not been accepted by the MAG (the IGF programme Committee).
However, the topics included in the workshop proposal (and more) can still be discussed at the DC3 annual session. All persons interested in joining the session can submit a short for the DC3 report ( see Call for Papers http://tinyurl.com/DC3callforpapers ).
Moreover, the workshop proposal on community connectivity submitted by Bruno Vianna and Marcelo Saldanha was accepted. Parabéns Bruno e Saldanha!! http://www.intgovforum.org/multilingual/content/igf-2017-ws-111-financing-a…
So there will be several occasions to discuss CN at IGF in December.
All the best
Luca

Hi guys,
I've been invited to the community networks summit in Africa (we are actually ending it right now), but a nice idea came to my mind that I want to share with you.
For those of you that are community network representatives, I would like to ask you if you can make a short video (1 min tops) were you tell:
* Name
* CN name
* Where are you from
* Any message for the rest of us, could be a request for the rest, a greeting, a nice message, whatever you feel is nice for the rest to hear
That will allow all of us to understand the dimensions of this global community we are building, and to feel more close to each other.
For those that are CN promoters, please let them know and would be great to know about them!
Thanks for reading :)

>> 14 June 2017
>> LOS ANGELES – 14 June 2017 – The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) today announced the creation of the Global Indigenous Ambassador Program. The program establishes two Indigenous Ambassadors, to be selected from underrepresented indigenous communities. Through the inclusion of a broader and more diverse base of knowledgeable constituents, ICANN will be better equipped to support the next generation of the global Internet community. "This is an exciting opportunity for two Indigenous Ambassadors to learn about ICANN and the At-Large community, representing the best interests of Internet end users," states Loris Taylor, President & CEO, Native Public Media.
>>
>> ICANN is now accepting applications for two Global Indigenous Ambassadors. Applicants must be members of unserved or underserved tribal or native communities and meet the ICANN Fellowship Program criteria[icann.org]. Selected participants will receive travel, hotel, and per diem for the ICANN60 Conference in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to be held 28 October – 3 November 2017.
>>
>> The deadline for submitting applications is 6 July 2017.

>>
>> Work with an indigenous mentor for the duration of the conference.
>> Attend the ICANN Newcomer Sunday meeting with a Public Responsibility Support team representative who will facilitate the session to ensure inclusion.
>> Participate in the Fellowship Morning sessions Monday through Thursday to gain an understanding of and experience with ICANN and its multi-stakeholder community.
>> Submit a detailed report within 30 days after the conference – describing activities and assessing the Ambassador's experience. These reports help ICANN in evaluating future Fellowship efforts.
