Hi all,
Please join us online (stay home, stay healthy!) this coming Tuesday (March 17th) at
10:00 UTC for a new edition of the Oxford Global Media Policy Seminar series with Ritu
Srivastava,
talking about ''the regulatory and licensing framework for community
networks," taking the examples from Asia Pacific countries. The talk will focus on
the regulatory and licensing
frameworks that enable or inhibit community networks.
You can participate with Q&A by joining us in the Zoom webinar on the 17th:

Please spread the word, and we look forward to seeing you there (virtually)! The talk
will be available on YouTube after the event, but please do join live if you can – to
participate in
discussion and questions!
Very best,
Kira
Hi Kira,
Looks interesting for my investigations on autonomous communities,
sustainable technology and community networks with wireless visible
light communications.
Sadly, I see it is needed to use Javascript. But I have a policy
against software used without a clear decision of the user. Javascript
will run software on my machine which I have not audited previously.
Even if it was libre software, I have no time to check if it respects my
policies. So Zoom is out of the question for me.
Are you willing to stream to a webm or an ogv file? That would allow me
to participate and I could comment via IRC. If those things are
possible, please email.
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Quiliro
