Hi Shuli,
There was no video shot yesterday as this was an exploratory meeting, as much for the
Gatsby team to learn about ISOC as otherwise. Also they are preparing a paper which will
not be released for a few weeks.
My notes from the meeting
Gatsby has nothing to do with the javascript platform GatsbyJS
Project is based at NYU Poly DUMBO Incubator
It is a wireless infrastructure project aimed at community networks.
It aims to provide free access on a freemium basis.
A pilot project is planned in Guatamala in partnership with UVG.
Initial aim is to connect anchor institutions such as hospitals.
Unique business model - revenue sharing per node via tokenizing and blockchain,
Chain itself still under development, may be ether or homebrew.
My suggested action plan was to wait for that, and then for ISOC-NY, hopefully in
partnership with the Blockchain SIG and the Community Networking SIG, to host a webinar.
Also for them to check out Beyond the Net funding, and also ISOC Guatemala.
Lastly, there is an online 'coffee talk' at 6pm ET today - Community Networks :
The situation in the Caribbean which is led by Renata Aquino of the Blockchain SIG.

Hi Shuli,
There was no video shot yesterday as this was an exploratory meeting, as much for the
Gatsby team to learn about ISOC as otherwise. Also they are preparing a paper which will
not be released for a few weeks.
My notes from the meeting
Gatsby has nothing to do with the javascript platform GatsbyJS
Project is based at NYU Poly DUMBO Incubator
It is a wireless infrastructure project aimed at community networks.
It aims to provide free access on a freemium basis.
A pilot project is planned in Guatamala in partnership with UVG.
Initial aim is to connect anchor institutions such as hospitals.
Unique business model - revenue sharing per node via tokenizing and blockchain,
Chain itself still under development, may be ether or homebrew.
My suggested action plan was to wait for that, and then for ISOC-NY, hopefully in
partnership with the Blockchain SIG and the Community Networking SIG, to host a webinar.
Also for them to check out Beyond the Net funding, and also ISOC Guatemala.
Lastly, there is an online 'coffee talk' at 6pm ET today - Community Networks :
The situation in the Caribbean which is led by Renata Aquino of the Blockchain SIG.
