Luca, I've been updating it periodically with new resources (as people share them as well as new ones I come across). Check out the updated list on the Google doc you shared:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Lp5DTB2Bso4Uz7yn3f7yza90Z9iqm6sUCONyLCc…
Also, once you get it on a static web page, aside from sharing on the list, how do you suggest we offer new resources? It might be tedious to constantly add new ones (unless a colleague is willing to do that -- I can as well!).
Best,-Michael

Hi again,
Last week we also agreed to consolidate the resources we have shared so far on this list + all other resources related to community networking so that we can beef up the « resources » page of our website https://comconnectivity.org/home (yes we have a website but it is still a work in progress :) )
Please feel free to share any CN-related resource that may be of interest (e.g. academic publications, short articles, videos, etc)
Many thanks
Luca
Hi all, in case this is of interest to the list. Apologies for the short
notice.

there will be reps from Google, Microsoft, & Facebook. A great 'state of

Hi everyone,
One of our former grant recipients, Kanchana Kanchanasut from InterLab/AIT in Thailand, shared a reminder that this event is taking place at the APRICOT 2017 / APNIC 43 conference in HCMC in Viet Nam later this month. There is webcast available at our conferences, so I am pretty sure it will be possible to follow-up remotely.
See below her invitation.
Warm regards,
Sylvia

Dea all,
We would like to invite you to join the APRICOT 2017 BoF Session on Community Wireless Mesh Networking which will be held on 28 February 2017, 17:30-19:00. Details of the BoF can be found below.
Date: Tuesday, 28 February 2017, Time: 17:30-19:00
Venue: VIP 3 & 4, Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers
Summary:
Community Wireless Mesh Networks (CWMN) are an excellent alternative to provide affordable access to the Internet, especially in underserved areas. In recent years, CWMN have emerged as a technology that can work on a small scale and which permits community participation as well as local economic development and empowerment. Successful examples around the Asia-Pacific on CWMN range from a desire to connect the unconnected, supporting access to information during natural disasters or simply doing research on wireless networking.
The aim of this BoF is to discuss the concept of community wireless networks, the various models employed and technical considerations. The session will bring together practitioners who have experience in planning and deploying community wireless networks.
The goal of the session is to expand knowledge on the topic, share technical lessons learnt and encourage others to get involved in the area of community wireless networks.

Hi all,
As we discussed during our call, last week, it is time to have a final round of comments to wrap up the discussion on the Declaration on Community Connectivity. This does not mean that the Declaration will be cast in stone for the next 20 years but it seems that we all agree on the benefits of having a shared document setting a shared definitions and principles.
Here is the latest version of the Declaration. https://pad.codigosur.org/GuadalajaraDeclaration
Please provide your final comments and remarks by 15 February.
Particularly, feel free to share your perspective on whether to keep the paragraph on CN policy (i.e. point 4) in the Declaration or separate it in order to include it in a different document.
Thanks a lot and have an excellent day.
Luca
Dear All,
I thought this might be of interested for some of you.
Have a good day,
Federica
