Hi all,
Just to say that the CNSIG panel at battle of the mesh was successful, I
think.

At least we made it obvious that none of us has a clear idea of what the
CNSIG is about :-)
There was a live stream and perhaps the video will be accessible at some
point.
In short, after our quick presentations there was an animated
discussion, mostly on the topic of spectrum, which I tried to document
with the help of Coenraad here:

In a few minutes some interesting sessions on the Radio lockdown

The video idea was difficult to accomplish, with a script and all on
such short notice, but maybe what we can do is send 10 sec of video per
organization ...
I believe we all have footage (video or photos) to choose 10sec from.
13x10 sec will make a nice 2min short video which can help show the
diversity of the CNSIG as an intro to the workshop.
To simplify the process, I have created a youtube account (Thiago don't
be mad at me for using the corporate evil silo :P ). We can all upload
the short videos there.

I propose we use no sound in the 10s videos and we just add a music
track over the whole thing for now...

Council rep: Coenraad, has not been involved in the SIG, or followed
its activity. I have tried ;p as my colleague, but for now Zenzeleni
has been involved through me. He has a wealth of technical
information, but I don't see that he can represent the SIG.
WG: I fully support that we take opportunities to present, and as you
say it's more in the spirit of the kind of intention we hold, rather
than work we've done. So from my side, go ahead and also please keep
clear that you are sharing thoughts and it's all quite nascent.
Also would love it if someone could send the rest of us a description
of how it went, what interest there was, questions etc. Also take a
pic maybe.

In my opinion, there is no need to pretend that we have a well-formed
identity :-), and none of us should feel that he/she represents the
whole group, but just share our current thoughts on the potential role
of CNSIG from these different perspectives, opening the space for
a nice
discussion.
Then we can document questions, proposals, etc, as input from the
battle
of the mesh ...
