Hi all,
My opinion is that we need to develop a very clear definition of what we
mean by "Community Network" in relation to the economic/business model
of the corresponding entity.
I think that we shouldn't exclude private companies at large, but
certainly those that are "big players" and extract value from localities
instead of supporting the local economy, including local businesses.
Then the question of what means "local" is naturally raised and this
needs some thought and deliberation.
I have some ideas and opinions, but as mentioned in another e-mail I
have recently started doubting if I belong to this community in the
first place and I wouldn't want to lead the discussion on this.
Btw, based on the framadate, the best time for our next meeting remains
the March 6th, at 17:00 UTC.

Thinking loud: we don't need to be always many people because the
discussion becomes difficult. We can create a "regular" monthly slot
(e.g., on the 6th of every month at 17:00 UTC) and join in mubble to
chat with whomever is available. And make an extra effort to have a
bigger assembly with quorum, etc. more rarely, once per year or 6 months.
