Hi,
Since I sometimes build larger private WiFi networks, I would like to know if LiMe is useful (or can be made useful) for this purpose. So can I secure all wireless communication by using wpa2-psk?
Kind regards,
Koen

Maybe this happened because of an error in targets of lime-build, I
think this should fix:
https://github.com/libremesh/lime-build/pull/16
Surprisingly I can't compile anyway, the compilation fails like this:
$ make T=mt7620 J=1 V=s UPDATE=1

A workaround is to specify the target device (Zbtlink ZBT-APE522II) in
menuconfig under the "Target Profile" menu.
$ make T=mt7620 menuconfig
and then launch the compilation again.
I am wondering who have experience in using Cloudy?
http://cloudy.community
I want tu use RPI2 or 3 to host local services.
Seems a good start ;)
Any track to follow?

Hi,
Following
http://nuvem.tk/wiki/index.php/Fuma%C3%A7a_Data_Springs/Anexo_t%C3%A9cnico#…
with
https://translate.google.fr/translate?hl=fr&sl=pt&tl=fr&u=http%3A%2F%2Fnuve…
in parallel ;)
I get nodogsplash running on my Internet connected node. And use vale
for distributing connexion coupons. GREAT!!
For now, only one node is Internet connected. But what if many nodes
are? It seems I should install nodogsplash and vale on everyone.
Then I will need to share and synchronise vouchers and configuration
files accross all!?
This my install procedure.
opkg install nodogsplash (helps install dependencies)
opkg install
http://chef.altermundi.net/downloads/r44952/ar71xx/packages/routing/nodogsp…
opkg install
http://chef.altermundi.net/downloads/r44952/ar71xx/packages/lime_packages/v…
root@LiMe-8de281:~# opkg files vale
Package vale (2015-09-09-1441772353) is installed on root and has the
following files:
/www/nds/iframeResizer.min.js
/www/nds/splash.css
/www/nds/iframeResizer.contentWindow.min.js
/www/cgi-bin/vale
/etc/nodogsplash/vale/db.csv
/usr/bin/vale.sh
/etc/nodogsplash/htdocs/splash-vale.html
root@LiMe-8de281:~# opkg files nodogsplash
Package nodogsplash (0.9_beta9.9.9-2-20150718_043129) is installed on
root and has the following files:
/usr/bin/nodogsplash
/usr/bin/ndsctl
/etc/nodogsplash/nodogsplash.conf
/etc/init.d/nodogsplash
/etc/nodogsplash/htdocs/splash.html
/etc/nodogsplash/htdocs/images/splash.jpg
/etc/nodogsplash/htdocs/infoskel.html
I translated and adapted into french
/etc/nodogsplash/htdocs/splash.html
/www/cgi-bin/vale
and provide voucher codes in /etc/nodogsplash/vale/db.csv
I am thinking in using rsync (or syncthing) from a reference node to
update files.
I am writing to the group to find people interested in that project ;) -
What exact files should be sync?
- Could we extend packages into multilanguage?
- Is there a better way to do access control on libremesh?
Happy end of last world
See you tomorrow ;)

Good meshing,
We would like to have a captive portal in our LiMe network. We have
never played with those things. I think the one to use here is
Nodogsplash.
My question is: Is there any information I should have to make
Nodogsplash work on Lime?
Sorry to ask before even trying, but when reading about Nodogsplash I
saw things on firewalls and iptables that made me wondered if Lime
will work like a plain OpenWRT.
Thanks!
