hello all.
i think yhe IP address is that of the router . this is because, I can see
the vendor linked to be IP to be TP Link which is my router.

No that is the IP of the router.
I got that from the netdiscover command which was tied to the TP link
router.

Could it be that 10.5.5.55 is the IP of your computer and not of the
router?
Can you try with the IP ending with .0.1?
So like this:
ssh root(a)10.5.0.1
