I have almost everything to amaze my neighbors ;) I'll need to install
nodogsplash on every Internet connected nodes?
I would like to start a collaborative mesh network between citizens to
create new local services to community. I heard about http://cloudy.ec/
and wish to try self hosted services to animate my village network.

if you want just a splash page with info on the local network, you can
install nodopgplash on the gateway router. But it must be the version
hacked to work with libre mesh. Therefore, ssh into the router and
opkg update
opkg install
http://chef.altermundi.net/downloads/r44952/ar71xx/packages/routing/nodogsp…
Then edit the /etc/nodogsplash/htdocs files.
Please notice that nodogsplash only works when the internet connection
is up. If for some reason the connection stops working, users won't be
directed to the portal.
If you want to implement a voucher/login system, or wants a hack for a
captive portal when there's no internet, there's a thorough
documentation... in portuguese :)
