I didn't know, but checking the docs says:
If you are installing for the first time (a router
with stock firmware),
choose the link ending with -factory.bin. If you are upgrading an existing
install of LibreMesh, OpenWrt or LEDE, choose the link ending with -sysupgrade.bin.
