Now I'm reading too what their difference is [2], but keep wondering how
come the factory image is not good for every purpose.
The "-factory" image is like the "-sysupgrade" adapted for being
accepted as valid by the stock firmware and the bootloader.
So, use the "-sysupgrade" file if you're interacting with
OpenWrt/LEDE/LiMe flashing utility (sysupgrade via console or via
OpenWrt/LEDE/LiMe web interface).
Use the "-factory" file if you're interacting with stock firmware
flashing utility (stock firmware web interface) or with bootloader (TFTP
recovery or serial connection, even if the router already has
OpenWrt/LEDE/LiMe installed).
