Ok, so now we have an IRC channel (still on freenode.net
but with a new
name: #libremesh-dev) bridged with a Matrix channel on a guifi.net
server :D

It's amazing also the fact that we can just use the username and
password from Guifi.net website for login in their Matrix server.
I'm using it with Pidgin on the PC.
I'm NOT suggesting you to use Pidgin as client, I'm sure there are many
more modern and better ones!
