Hi,
I can change the hostname in some routers. I do it by editing the
hostname at /etc/config/system and then I run the lime-config command.
That works fine in some TP-Link routers I tried, but it does not seem
work on two Nanostation M5 routers I have. They do not keep the manually
configured name, but the autoconfigured by LibreMesh. Why? Any suggestion?
Crappy workarounds are welcome too!
If you are using the last libremesh pre-release (from
http://repo.libremesh.org) you can change it from the web interface
(Simple config menu).
From the command line you should edit /etc/config/lime and look (or
create) the hostname option which is inside the system section, like this: config lime system
option hostname 'LiMeNode-%M4%M5%M6'
The run "lime-config" and "lime-apply" (last only if u are using the
last libremesh release).
