hey gui, thanks for the clarification.
I've got another question, are there any ipv6 services deployed on
Argentina's altermundi mesh networks that we could visit and enjoy as
well?, like, a webserver, a local radio, etc. Also i see fumaça in
brazil has ipv6 range, so maybe there are ipv6 services there. I ask
this because we are starting to deploy some simple services for our
community network, there is a webserver and also an irc server here
2a00:1508:1:f024::2 and maybe something like this and more elaborated
should be there in the south of the south :p
Thanks!

Hi Ilario, thanks for the follow up on this.
sorry for the slow reaction
so, what's currently implemented is the automagic self-assignment of a
valid, global ipv6.
what's currently NOT implemented is automagic routing to the ipv6
internet (via librenet6 or native connectivity)
so, for now, you have to set up librenet6 the same way you did all this
time, with the only difference that you don't need to request a
(manually assigned) range to us. You just use the automagically
generated one.
We have planned on the roadmap to implement the software used at
vpn.qmp.cat to simplify the librenet6 setup. The expectation is to get
around doing that by mid-2017
BTW the librenet6 tunnel broker works really
nice, we have some
systems using it, but it could be nicer for us just flashing routers
and getting ipv6 ranges easily, specially for the non-skilled users.
totally agree, i'd also love that, but we're not there yet. Soon! :)
cheers!
Actually, I thought the libremesh ipv6
configuration was kinda of
magic, because of two things:
1. On the librenet6 website, there's depicted a global ipv6
self-configured space for libremesh
2. I browsed through ssh . /etc/config/lime, and one of the files
there has config examples, there are some limes regarding global ipv6
and bgp or something like that.
All my apologies to other members if i seem naive, like discovering
something that is actually a feature, but since i am unable to make
it work, i started browsing and looking for information.

Anyone with experience on this?

Hello Ilario!
We want to deploy IPV6 in our nodes. We have got already an IPV6
range from Librenet6: 2a00:1508:1:f024::/64 -->
NetworkBogota.org
Anyways, when i noticed the feature on LiMe I though it was like
just pick a range and you are on the way, but it is not working.
Routers and clients receive a global routable ipv6 address but it
is not reaching internet since you can't ping6 google or pass an
ipv6 test.
I appreciate some help on this, since we want access to isolated
nodes and their services.
