I added a proposal for captive portal and user
auth.
Amazingly we now have many ideas submitted on Freifunk's wiki page for GSoC.
These are the defined ideas:
1.4 LibreMesh/LibreRouter
1.4.1 lime-webui: port to LuCI2
1.4.2 lime-system: Modules Runtime Dependencies
1.4.3 lime-system: Test and Save mode
1.4.4 lime-system: Configuration Validator
1.4.5 LibreMesh NetJSON Agent
1.4.6 LibreMesh based Battle Mesh testbed
1.4.7 LibreMesh LibreNet6 integration
1.4.8 Improve Easy Internet Sharing in LibreMesh
1.4.9 Spectrum Analyzer
1.4.10 TVWS Database Server and Client
You can read their description in the wiki page:
https://wiki.freifunk.net/Ideas#LibreMesh.2FLibreRouter
There are ideas that didn't made it out of the pad, I suppose that if we
define them and put in the wiki they still have possibilities to enter
the program:
* Captive portal and access control
* IPv6 internet easy sharing (maybe gets solved merging PR#71?)
* lime-webui improvement
* Services announcement
* lime-proto-client WPA support
which are described here:
http://pad.ninux.org/p/lime-gsoc2017
Hi Ilario, it is possible to add other ideas or it'is too late?
i'm thinking that is good (in my point of view and for my purposes) to
have client's node signal level on a web page.
bye
