Modifying the file lime-defaults should have no effect when running lime-config.
I think that lime-defaults file is useless and we should remove it

Which file are you modifying? lime or lime-defaults?
Ok, I just followed your instructions, flashed the new
firmware and
erased the old config. Ssh-ed in, modified /etc/config/lime-defaults,
run lime-config, and... it doesn't work ;)
Yep, lime-defaults is ignored by lime-config
So, the image you linked works, but it's
configured for Delta Libre
and lime-config doesn't do his job. Building a firmware from git only
makes things worse...
Worse... maybe... anyway you could try following this guide for
compiling your own image (without using lime-build):
