Thanks for the info Daniel, you should make a monthly

I found this very nice solution

https://es.aliexpress.com/store/product/Bare-board-OPENWRT-MT7612E-16-256M-…

That looks quite a better (and cheaper) choice rather than the
 Mikrotik+MT7612E
Well, it only 100MBit/s fast Ethernet while 802.11AC can do
significantly more throughput... This is sad, because rather then
giving it 3 FastEthernet ports they should have added a external
RGMII phy and just a single Gigabit Ethernet port (the MT7620A chip
would potentialls support that). Also the board in the photo doesn't
have external PA/LNA populated and therefore will not have very good
range.

However maybe there is not (yet) OpenWRT target. It would be nice to
have it :) Please, report back any advice regarding this board.

 Cheers.

  Hello,

I write to ask in the list that brand and references of equipment
designed to work outdoors can recommend me different from the brand
Ubiquiti because for a couple of months we have been having trouble
changing the firmware to this brand computers that are supposedly
compatible but come with a new firmware version and do not allow the
 installation of libreMesh.

I hope you can give us more information about it.

 Thank you.
