Bonus feature would be to link the traffic management to an email.... so that the person
who we share our connection with could send an email to a special address, and that would
trigger 30-60 minutes of traffic throttling or URL blocking. That way if he thinks his
connection is slow because of us, he can send the email and slow us down temporarily,
instead of unplugging our antenna and forgetting to plug it in until the next day.

Two ideas:
1) block certain URLs, such as YouTube,
2) throttle traffic.
Maybe only during peak traffic hours.
Looking for software to install on our gateway router we've found Tiny
Proxy. Do you think it might work, and/or suggest something else?

Our gateway router is a TP-Link WDR3500 running LibreMesh from February
of this year (maybe 2016.11, I'll check). We can update to the latest
release of LibreMesh if that makes a difference (we plan to update
sometime in the next few months).
Happy end of the Gregorian year,
