[lime-users] Purpose of anygw, when not using AP as router?

Hi all, I am using libremesh on my APs but I made all of them dump APs, that is, I disabled the dhcp server. I have two APs: A, B, C A is the exit node. A is connected to a router via ethernet and receives dhcp from this router. B and C are meshed to A but receive dhcp via router. Now, when libremesh node is not serving dhcp, what is the purpose of anygw interface? Can I remove it? Thanks!
