I have several PicoStationM2HP with the BulletM firmware, but it is
possible that the one you say is different, check if the ubiquiti firmware
is XW or XM, according to that you can know which one you can use.

not work for me because this directory disappeared

options, but I can not get it to connect to the libremesh nodes that I

From wlan0meshstationdump.txt seems that the mesh (IEEE802.11s)
connection with the other two nodes is established.
Both BATMAN adv and BMX6 are active on the mesh interface (batctl-if.txt
nd bmx6.txt).
But neither BATMAN adv (batctl-o.txt) nor BMX6 (bmx6.txt) can see the
other nodes.
In dmesg there's some message regarding a VLAN 10 which is not being
used in LibreMesh but it is used in Giuseppe's home network, no idea why
BATMAN complains about this.
I don't understand where the problem is.
Anyone have idea if we miss any piece of information?

I recompiled the firmware for the picostation both with the old version
17.01.02 and with openwrt 18.06, but it does not work, the pico does not
connect you have working nodes batmon-adv does not detect anything.

Seems that nobody have any clue on this...
Talking to the devs they said that Ubiquiti PicoStation 2HP (not M2) is
an old device and that it's better not to use this old stuff :(
If someone have idea of what's the missing piece of the puzzle, please

yes, iliario , is an old device but very powerful and with a new
firmware would be very performing. I don't understand why with the
latest version of openwrt it works while it doesn't work with compiled
sources.
