Do not get a device which has not been previously
tested by someone else. Finding hardware for meshing is hard in general, and only a very
specific set of Wifi chips are good for it.
If you cannot afford a 30-40€ router I would rather use Ethernet cable and standard AP
wifi routers :P
If you are really going to have TV/Radio streaming, that Ethernet cable
would give you peace of mind. And a good symmetric connection to the
Idea: You might also try to find people, universities,
organizations/associations, NGOs... around to make an investment all together, buy a set
of good routers and then use them as a Quick Mesh deployment set for anyone who needs in

I guess Pau also meant the 3600 (similar to 3500), but he probably
forgot to mention it. Sometimes you can find them named as TL-WDR3500,
TL-WDR3600, TL-WDR4300 and TL-WDR4310.

Maybe you already know, but Ring/Jami does not work without Internet
unless you manually configure a local bootstrap.

Modante, I might help you with the routers, I live more or less nearby,
send me your Ring ID and I will call you.
