Just edit the file /etc/config/lime
And add (or modify) the wifi section like the next example:
config lime 'wifi'
list modes 'ap'
list modes 'apname'
list modes 'ieee80211s'
option channel_2ghz '11'
option channel_5ghz '48'
Then run "lime-config" and reboot.
You can find more options in /etc/config/lime-example.
If an option is not specified in /etc/config/lime the default options
from /etc/config/lime-defaults are used.
Please, let us know if 802.11s works fine for you and which hardware are
you using. We want to change the default to 802.11s but we have to know
if it works fine for different hardware.
Cheers.

Hi,
I am trying to experiment on setting up 802.11s instead of adhoc for the
mesh configuration but I am finding it very hard to find information on this ?
Does anyone have instructions / sample working config file for this ?
I understand I have to disable mode ad-hoc and replace with ieee802.11s - is
this correct ?
Thanks
Ruairi
