This is the bare minimum .config (at least when compiling for ramips) for having the correct kernel vermagic: CONFIG_ALL_KMODS=y CONFIG_DEVEL=y # CONFIG_KERNEL_KALLSYMS is not set CONFIG_KERNEL_BUILD_DOMAIN="buildhost" CONFIG_KERNEL_BUILD_USER="builder" You can set these options in the menuconfig (inside the "Global build settings" menu) or (maybe easier?) start from a .config file with only these lines and then select target (which router to compile for) and packages (like selecting LibreMesh packages).

Hi Jürgen, about the error message in lime-app please check here: https://github.com/libremesh/lime-packages/issues/763 opkg can't get the libremesh packages, because they are not there ;-) (The standard packages should work) If you want to use luci you have to compile it into the firmware. Because of the dependencies of the luc(base) package you should only use the luci-admin package. If you like i can give you my config (different hardware, but the luci part is the same everywhere).
