I set manually hidden '1' on all mesh
network, uci commit wireless
and
rebooted all routers.
Mesh network is still shown and nodes are still connected. I'll test
more once I get home.

And do adhoc/11s mesh works without SSID broadcasting?
I assumed so but indeed I have no idea...

In case it works I agree with Paul: better to remove it for
lowering
confusion level.
If I got it correctly this could affect the working concept of
"first
boot wizard", which, by the way, is still under design process (?).
