Again. No SSH, no web, no ping.

Let's do a copy for high availability. Isaac said to do it in his server. I also can
do it in one of our servers. I'm sure that all of you have others servers.
Now we can do a copy, but if you want to have it distributed servers we can make it
available from several sharing same IP with BGP in internet.
We can do a lot of things, but not let it down... is a bad image for the project.

I would just need a redmine archive and a dns pointer to stand
something up on infrastructure. Happy to do it. In the united states,
but it has proven pretty reliable. We do have occaisional issues with
our upstream, but maybe 1-2 incidents per year. We're also planning to
take a 24 hour outage during the last week of december to move to a
new facility, so it might makes sense to wait until after that.
Nico has mentioned provisioning a DR site at Cordoba. If we can do that
would be happy to manage setting up redundant infra. Haven't done auto
failover before, but it's something I'd be interested in figuring out.

There's more than 4 days off-line. And argetinian people give no signals...
Just wait a few days more... and if it doesn't become on-line again I'm going to
install a new instance of maps on two rsync'ed servers.
PD: Gioacchino is on my house until 23th. We're going to work together in libre-mesh.

an unprecedented blackout in buenos aires left the server offline where
it was located for several days (!!)
yesterday i moved it into a temporary office which isn't currently

data is safe, but we have no public ipv4 for that VM at it's current
temp housing
it's accesible by ipv6 at the same address as before

and i'm at the moment working to get ipv4 working as well, hope to be
done in a few hours

DNS changed to new IPv4, but the IPv6 one is still pointing to the old
server.
BTW if someone have public and secure DNS server, I can point
libre-mesh.org to such server and we can manage them in group.

Andre has been working a lot on LibreMap and it's almost usable now.
The focus will be put there until we can migrate data from existing
openwifimap and AlterMap databases.
Replication (full or partial) among couchdb instances should be handled
through the internal replication process rather than rsync. It is
important to understand how this work, so you don't accidentally delete
data from the database you used as origin.
We'll post a howto on this when LibreMap is a bit more mature.
Progress can already be seen at http://libremap.net

LibreMap has it's own pluggable agent. It's not yet ready to replace
AlterMap, but very soon. Yesterday I completed:

... so data from AlterMap servers can be imported to LibreMap, as well
as from OpenWiFiMap. I tested it by importing QuintanaLibre to
libremap.net and it worked fine. We'll import the rest of data stored
in AlterMap instances soon.
Other adapters can be written to import data from any source...
There are a couple of things to address yet, but yes, qMp should
migrate to LibreMap when it's ready and the FNF can include it in the
FreedomStack too. Guido is adding the libremap agent package to our repos.

that url can be simply added as an opkg.conf repo, and then run
`opkg list *libremap*`
