Axel do you wanna mentor some student implementing something for
bmx6 ?
I was thinking about it but with concerns: On the one hand I am quite
busy next months (with mentoring other projects) and would have few
time left for students. Then the ideas I have would overlap with
existing ideas, particularly the dev of libre-mesh, libremap and lupi
projects.
For these tools I'd like to see some multi-topology support exploiting
new capabilities of the currently experimental bmx6-dev branch. But
this branch is currently undergoing a major redesign and the APIs and
its stability should mature further before being used as a basis for
third-party contributions. Maybe, if libre-map/mesh or lupi gets some
grants, we can consider my wishes as one aspect or at least consider
multi-topology use cases for the design and then make it's
implementation part of a later project.
The bmx6 part should be relatively stable for the next battlemesh.

At
moment only babel have proposed ideas
