Take this warning seriously!
Every Ubiquiti airMAX device (all of the ones we use) with AirOS 5.6 or
AirOS 6 has to be **downgraded** to AirOS 5.5 **before** flashing with
LibreMesh/LEDE/OpenWrt.
You can find the old versions of AirOS 5.5 XM and XW here:
https://dl.ubnt.com/firmwares/XN-fw/v5.5.11/XM.v5.5.11.28002.150723.1344.bin

Should these images work for PowerBeam M5 and LiteBeam M5?
I think those AirOS firmwares should support PowerBeam M5 and LiteBeam M5, yes.
Contrariwise the AirOS web interface will tell you that it's not
suggested to flash that image.
PowerBeam is supported in OpenWrt and in LibreMesh since long time.
Instead LiteBeam are supported just since march [1].
So LiteBeam will be supported in the upcoming LibreMesh release.
