Hi all,
got 5 of this dualband CPE (MT7620a). Tried QMP firmware, flash ok but
crashes only by accessing internet.
Anybody here got those working?

It is not supported by last OpenWrt stable, so it's not yet supported
by LibreMesh (you could try with the develop branch).
Looks supported by both OpenWrt trunk and LEDE trunk.

I tried with qMp trunk, no problem flashing, configuration produced some
headache but I went along. But afterwards probing internet access or even
lan access results in crashes. Sometimes devices recovered sometimes had to
be rebooted. Being a Noob I assume the lightest load leads to crash. There
are quite a lot error messages in the system log which I can't interprete.
What I read from the log there could be a Vlan problem as well as automatic
configuration of the wlan's fails at some point.

Eventually I tried to compile ramips.
So "make info" shows no mt7620 but here

Maybe a stupid question:
It is possible to add Lime to an existing Openwrt just by adding Lime repo
to the opkg config?

Yes it is!!
It is the "legacy way".

Ah! Sorry, I didn't get the question, so, well I don't know how to use
opkg.config file...
I expected to find compiled LiMe packages for mt7620 in
http://downloads.libremesh.org/develop/
but there's nothing for mt7620
@p4u, any thought? Is this normal?
Anyway, compiling locally libremesh with develop branch of lime-build
you will have the packages you need in the output/*/packages folder.
Installing them one by one could be tedious because of dependencies.
Setting up a opkg repo could be an option but I never tried.
Consider reflashing with a LiMe image already including everything...

This suggestion I gave you was based on the misunderstanding that you
were compiling LiMe starting from a LEDE base. (anyway also in
lime-build you can access menuconfig for advanced packages selection)
