Everything looks correct to me.
If the internal switch is configured correctly by LEDE. eth0.1 should be
LAN and eth0.2 should be wan. So, unless there is some problem with the
internal switch management, it should work.
You can try to execute manually a dhcp client call after connecting the
WAN port to an Internet router with dhcp server: udhcpc -i eth0.2
You can also try a manual IP configuration (depending on the IP range):
ip addr add 192.168.1.2/24 dev eth0.2
ip route add default via 192.168.1.1
