Hola,
Estoy intentando compilar libremesh utilizando esta guia:
https://github.com/libremesh/lime-packages
Lo que quiero lograr es compilar con la versión snapshot de OpenWRT para
tratar de tener LibreMesh en algunos equipos que no están soportados por la
versión 17 y 18 de OpenWRT, alguien ha intentado hacer esto y tienen algun
consejo que pueda compartir?
Los intentos que he realizado hasta el momento resulta en varios problemas
de compilación asociados a los paquetes de LIME que se rompen en esta
versión de OpenWRT.
O me recomiendan mejor intentar hacer las imágenes con el SDK de LibreMESH?

hello, fernando,
I have also tried to compile automatically via the online page ( for
orangepizero) but by numerous errors. Cloning and compiling the sdk
instead works all this page https://github.com/libremesh/lime-sdk.

right now it only works if you compile using --flavor=lime_bmx7
(to the best of my knowledge)

I wrote some updated compilation instructions, they still have to be
accepted into the LibreMesh website but in the meanwhile you can read it
here:

Beware that this compiles the latest LibreMesh code (not backward
compatible with LibreMesh 17.06, at least with the default configuration
and packages set) on top of OpenWrt 18.06.4 and that these instructions
will change in the future (and once the changes will get merged, the
instructions will be on https://libremesh.org/development.html ).

Thank you very much for the document, the instructions for creating the
LibreMESH firmware work very well.
I also tested using the openwrt repository in the github of librerouter and
with that code I could also build the firmwara for some routers I needed to
test.

agregue instrucciones para configurar el firmware a la medida de las
comunidades que tienen configuraciones personalizadas

I merged the updated instructions on the website, you can find them here:

I took the list of the suggested packages from the LibreRouter default
configuration, there are pleeeeenty of packages to select.
Maybe not all of them are actually useful...?

"Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/home/jkimmel/openwrt/build_dir/host/scons-3.0.1/setup.py", line

ImportError: No module named distutils"

The package "python3-distutils" is already in the dependencies listed in
the development page, can you check you have it installed on your system?
In case you have it installed, but the error happens anyway it could be
that we also need the Python2 version of distutils (whose I don't know
the package name). If so, can you update the development page?

The package "python3-distutils" is already in the dependencies listed in
the development page, can you check you have it installed on your system?
In case you have it installed, but the error happens anyway it could be
that we also need the Python2 version of distutils (whose I don't know
the package name). If so, can you update the development page?

Compilation stopped working I think because of

It is not strictly needed but can help.
Do you mind updating the website?
You can do it via a pull request or, much more convenient, opening respective page on lime-web repository and
clicking on the "Edit"

icon (on the top right corner, I think that
having a Github account
should be enough for editing directly):

After the edit, the website will take a few minutes (less than one
hour)
to update.
