did you hold the reset button? in older models i remember, you kept the
reset button pressed until the leds (if any) began to blink in a pattern.

When you do it through LuCi, there is a check box that
is checked by
default. I don't remember exactly, but something like "save / import
existing configuration". You should uncheck that, this is equivalent to
using '-n' with sysupgrade.
I haven't used a NanoStation so no clue how to get into failsafe. Have
you tried the other instructions on the troubleshooting page, "Unable to
establish Ethernet connection"?

Take into account that
they are different models and require different firmwares!
Hi Pau,
I used the nano-m5 firmware,
file: openwrt-15.05.1-ubnt-nano-m-r49403-caus-1607-sysupgrade.bin
but I don't know why, after flashing with the sysupgrade everything
fucks up.
Now I'm trying to enter in the failsafe mode, with no success.
As per the documentation [1] I'm doing the following:
* power off the router
* setup on my eth0 the ip: 192.168.1.2/24
* connect via lan to the router (in this case is PoE, but whatever)
* click the reset button, more than 10s - it reboots
* reboot the system, pressing reset again, but doesn't enter in failsafe
mode
* no udp packet sent via LAN
any ideas?
