Hello all, I am trying to cook the Firmware of of the LibreRouter for
TP-link3600.
I have followed the instructions as on https://github.com/libremesh/lime-sdk
I have build the firmware but I cant cook it. I have had the error Build
dependency: Please install ncurses. (Missing libncurses.so or ncurses.h)
and I have done all sorts of manipulations to get ncurses installed but I
have not succeeded since yesterday.
I am working with Ubuntu 15.10
Please any Idea or help on this is appreciated.

Can you update your Ubuntu to the latest version?

That is solving the problem using the escape method :)
Unfortunately, I cant format my computer now. I have a lot of stuffs I have
just set up for different things and if I do that, It will take me another
one full month to get the computer set up :(
If there is no way us to rectify for now might be because there is no
support for ubuntu 15.10, I will propose that some one can help me with the
firmware for TP-Link 3600 .
Also, I discovered that

is down with all the tutorials that will help me to flash my hardware.
Please any work currently going on here ??

think you can just download the libncurses5-dev package from Ubuntu
14.04 repository which have also the 5.9 version of ncurses.
It's risky as you will have to install a lot of packages as
dependencies, from a repository which is not the correct one (15.10),
this things are the ones which can screw your installation.

cooker. Maybe that helps?

Hello all,
Initially, My router was running the libremesh firmware when I got it. I
wanted to know how to flash it. I followed the instructions

The flashing process took more than 8hours which was unusual to me so I
terminated the process.
From my research now, it shows that
I have to troubleshoot the router following the tutorial here
http://www.libremesh.org/docs/en_troubleshooting.html
All the first points are correct. I need to connect to the router but
thenode.info can not connect. so where do I get the information regathering
the gateway so as to connect ?? note the connection( both wired and
wireless between the computer and the router) loads for ever and no
connection is ever established.

This image is freshly compiled but with old feeds!
It has still adhoc as default (while we changed to 802.11s a few months
ago)!
You can see it running "binwalk -e" on the image file, which extracts
the content.

Bruno, you should add "--update-feeds" at the end of your cooker command.
Nges, when you manage to connect, you should update the router with an
image taken from the downloads.libremesh.org or from jefe.tk :)

Hello sorry for the error. Yeah I am talking of http://thisnode.info
it does not connect. the greatest thing is that the router does not connect
to the computer. It keeps trying to connect forever.
