Hi,
I had a node working ok with LiMe 16.07. It is a TP-Link WR2543ND.
I tried to upgrade it to LiMe 17.06 using the sysupgrade.bin image from
my network profile on chef.libremesh.org
After restarting it did not publish any SSID. I connected through
Ethernet and I was able to go into luci with my browser (http://anygw/).
In Administration > Network > Wireless I could see the SSID modes were
on "Client"
Then I tried by upgrading it with the factory.bin image.
I had the same results, but this time I see the mode for the three SSIDs
is "Unknown".
- How do I check those things (like interface status) through commands?
- Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot to make this router work with LiMe 17.06? There
must be something wrong in the image.

for interface status, a good command is:
ip a s
this means ip address show.

you could also try upgrading to the 18.06, it's now stable:
http://downloads.lede-project.org/releases/18.06.0/targets/ar71xx/generic/o…
if you use the command "sysupgrade" it should keep your config files.
(sysupgrade -n overwrites the config files). from the GUI, just tick the
box that says keep the config files.

for removing bad old configurations you should use the "-n" option on
"sysupgrade" command or select the checkbox for not keeping the
configuration in the web interface.
