Hello everyone (and Pau specially)
In our efforts to replace the wdr3500/3600 as the most accessible dual
band routers, I came across tp-link archer c50, which is pretty
inexpensive in Brazil.
The SoC is a MediaTek MT7620A, so before buying one I tried to cook an
image for mediatek with the command:
./cooker -c mediatek/generic --profile=Default --flavor=lime_default
But after a while it fails. The log file is attached. Any help is appreciated!

Hi Bruno.
You can see the available targets on cooker by executing:
./cooker --targets
The target for Archer C50 is ramips/mt7620 not mediatek/generic.
Then you can see the available profiles of targets executing:
./cooker --profiles=ramips/mt7620
Here you can find the current precompiled binaries:
http://repo.libremesh.org/lime-17.04/targets/ramips/mt7620/ArcherC50/

Quick question before flashing: the cooker only did the sysupgrade version.
Also in the precompiled repo, there is no factory image, only sysupgrade.
Should I use it anyway?

so, I got the c50, and it was actually v2 and not v1.

it uses qualcomm atheros qca9557, which should work with ar71xx.
but i couldn't find a profile nowhere :/
any ideas?

I can't find any info regarding support in LEDE or in OpenWrt for v2....
If this version is not supported by LEDE/OpenWrt we can't add support
for LibreMesh :/
Can you verify this?

yes, i looked all over lede and openwrt, there is no support. :/
i posted a few messages to see if someone would be able to help.
it seems like there are drivers for all chips, it would only be a
matter of putting packages together.
i wonder how difficult to get this working...

I can't find any info regarding support in LEDE or in OpenWrt for v2....
If this version is not supported by LEDE/OpenWrt we can't add support
for LibreMesh :/
